Early 'Swivel' Chair

Model no. 502, designed in 1955.
Chromium-plated metal, leather, teak.
With producers metal plaque to the underside: 'Johannes Hansen, Cabinetmaker, Copenhagen Denmark, Design H. J. Wegner'.
This is an early example with the first-edition castors stamped 'BASSICA', which were eventually changed to the spherical Wright Batchelder castors.
