History:
This table was a prototype of the PK-60. It was made by Fritz Hansen and later exhibited at the Museum of Applied Arts in Zurich in September 1952. It represents a shift in Kjaerholm’s approach, embracing molded materials and more organic forms. Designed to complement the black lounge chair model PK-0—created as part of his final project for Halldor Gunnlogsson’s living room, alongside the ‘element’ chair, PK-25.
