Painted carved wood, hand painted fabric.
Fabric upholstery hand-painted by Claudia Mendini. Custom made example in 1991 for Robert Wilson. Dated underneath. Designed in 1978. Combines forms of French baroque chairs with a pattern inspired by Paul Signac's pointillism. It is the first of the famous series of "re-designs".
