Red beech, hemp cord, naturally patinated leather upholstered cushions.a pair of beech chairs, "Ararat", executed by Åke Axelsson in 1976.
The "Ararat" chairs were made in a limited edition for the exhibition also named "Ararat" at the Modern Museum in Stockholm 1976. Ararat is an acronym for Alternative Research in Architecture, Resources, Art and Technology.
