Two Prototype Chairs
1960s
Beech, each with different designed seats and details.
Both chairs with paper labels to the underside: 'Inredningsarchitekt S.I.R., Stig Lönngren, Bodalsvägen 45, Lindingö, Schweden' and numbered.

History:
Stig Lönngren studied at the prestigious Konstfack art academy in 1951. He was one of the founders of the 'HI Group', an amalgamation of sixteen master craftsman and interior architects who strove to renew Swedish furniture art during the first half of the 1960s.
