Anna Boberg

1864–1935

Anna Boberg (1864–1935) was a Swedish painter and designer, noted for her distinctive ceramic and textile designs that drew heavily from her artistic roots. While she is best known for her dramatic Arctic landscape paintings, she made notable contributions to Scandinavian design through her intricate ceramic tile works for Rörstrand and her textile designs, like those created for the Swedish pavilion at the 1900 Paris Exposition. Her works are celebrated for their vivid depictions of Nordic nature, rich textures, and intricate detailing.
