Algot Erikson

Per Algot Erikson (1868-1937) was a Swedish porcelain painter and ceramist. He grew up close to Rörstrand, for whom he was employed during his studies in 1886 as a draftsman, model maker and porcelain painter. After he finished his studies, he traveled to France, Germany and Denmark to continue his studies. When he returned to Sweden he was employed for Rörstrand, Gefle and Karlskrona porcelain factory. His work is represented by, among others, the National Museum in Stockholm, and the Bergen Museum in Norway.
