Albin Hamberg

Albin Hamberg (1875-1968) was a Swedish painter, teacher, sculptor and ceramist. He studied both in Denmark and in Stockholm, after which he became employed as a turner and modeler at Högnäsbolaget. He became known for his frog figurines, but he also made vessels, urns and bowls in a distinctive Art Nouveau style. He participated in several important exhibitions, such as the Arts and Craft Exhibition in 1928.
