Birch top, black laquered base.
Greta Magnusson Grossman (1906-1999) studied to architect at the Technical college HKS Stockholm. Studied funiture manufacturing in Germany and France. Worked briefly at Harald Westerberg. In 1933 first woman to be awarded 2nd. prize at the Stockholms Cabinet Makers Competition.
Encouraged by he husband Billy Grossman, she opened her own shop 1933, called the Studio on Sturegatan Stockholm.
Moved to Los Angeles in 1939 and continued with furnitue design and private interiors.
