Nanna Ditzel

Nanna Ditzel (1923–2005) was a trailblazing Danish designer known for her innovative approach to furniture and textiles. Renowned for her experimental and organic forms, Ditzel created the iconic "Hanging Egg Chair" (1959), which redefined indoor-outdoor living with its sculptural yet functional design. Her "Trinidad Chair" (1993), inspired by Caribbean architecture, became another signature piece. Throughout her career, she consistently pushed the boundaries of Scandinavian modernism with her distinctive blend of elegance, functionality, and playful creativity.
